Hey everyone, I know there has been low activity here but wanted to write a quick post here since I noticed I hadnt shared my news here yet.


I got accepted to Art Center about a month and a half ago.

I will be entering as a illustration major and will be focusing on Entertainment Arts which is a lot like visual development for feature animation.

haha so yup!!  

I will be posting up a lot more stuff soon. I have just been very busy.  I am working on a new project thats getting ready to lauch soon (finally!!)

So my activity here on has really gone down due to my computer breaking down. I am right now borrowing this computer and am writing this journal update so that you guys will at least know why I have just dissapeared so suddenly. I feel bad, especially to come of the online comunnites I was apart of and working with. Im really sorry.

I also feel bad because I have literally been drawing the min I get up, all day, till i go to sleep, and its hard for me to share that here.  

I have still been posting some of my work online but at a different place online. I have been posting on Tumblr now just because it is easier to access and post than is. I have the Tumblr app on my phone and can easily take a picture and post it to my Tumblr. with deviantart, its a little harder. Hey guys so I have had some big thoughts going on in my head for maybe 2 years now. I want to host my own podcast show, I want to vlog everyday of my life at art school and perhaps longer, and I want to blog somewhere regularly.

Hey guys

So I'm just going to fess up and say it. I haven't been drawing much...   Why?

Cause I now have a new job + my other job. Goon news is I make more per hour in a day with my new job then my old job in a whole week. Bad news is that I cant just quit my old job right now and because of that I don't have much time at all for me to draw.  I like all the extra money and all but I hate that I'm not drawing as much.


I do carry a sketchbook with me everywhere I go though, so I guess you could say I'm still keeping the pencil in my hand. Its not near enough though. I was drawing for hours at a time where as now I might get a total of an hour now throughout the whole day. Its pretty lame.

In other news

GUILD WARS IS COMING OUT ON AUGUST 28TH!!!!!! I'm so excited!

That will also probably hurt my drawing time haha but Guild Wars is kinda what got me into drawing seriously.

It may sound stupid, but I used to love to look at the loading screens for Guild Wars. The loading screens were pictures of the concept art used to help create whatever place you were going to in the game. I LOVE Guild Wars concept art soo much. Its so amazing. I was about 15 or so at the time and literally everyday, non-stop, for 2 years I researched on everything I could find on concept art, the gaming industry, who were the artists that made this art, how were they able to draw that, what programs they used, how the concept artist practiced to get so good, what schools did they go to, what schools should I go to to learn this craft, etc..  I researched A LOT!

Years later, I am still entranced by the artwork crafted by Kekai Kotaki, Richard Anderson, Daniel Dociu, and the rest of the Guild Wars team.

So now I have some idea what its all about, how to get there, and what I must do to get there and that is what I am trying to do now.  

Hey everyone!   Been a while since I have written a journal update.

The main school year is now over for me. Finals have been taken and final projects have been turned in. This year wasn't too too bad to me actually. I did all right in my classes, and I got a lot better in drawing in the last year I feel. Overall, I'm happy with what I have accomplished so far. But I know I can always do more!


I have just begun summer school and my life is becoming very busy once again. I am going to school, working, trying to compete regularly in the men;s opens of tennis, get better at digital painting, and apply to all of the art schools. I also have a girlfriend.   I am so busy. I leave at 9am and get back usually around 11pm. ............so tired......... zzzzzZZZZZZZ....


Somehow though I am trying to find the time to still keep drawing. If you saw my most recent posts they have been scans of my sketchbook of when I draw the people I see through out my day when I get time to eat.  



I want to stay active within this community. I really do. I start to feel bad if I go a week without posting something, especially when in the beginning I was promising I'd have more Eragon fan art once summer started! O_O   When I promised that I did not know that I would go to summer school though. BUT! that is no excuse! I will get the Eragon designs posted on here ASAP!  I have actually nearly finished the Raz'zac and have started working on the Urgals. I have also worked a little bit more on my Arya spreads because I am not completely happy with them.


Hope everything is going well with all of you. Overall I am good, I just wish I didn't tire so quickly these days. I start to get drowsy around 11pm now when I used to be able to stay up to 4am no problem! O_O   Must be because I'm in the sun all day working as a tennis coach......
